WILL THE LYCRA BE CHANGED FOR LEATHER?

  • In three days we will know.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    We already know what the Abbott-haters detest about the PM. The swagger, the ears, the volunteering firie, that his female associations show that he is no mysoginist, his climate denial, his bike-riding and, maybe his religious brand. How could anyone with such baggage be a good PM. Personally, I think his fellow party-members will retain him…showing that pollies are not the fickle public, but that cool leather-jacketed, urbane populist is ready to pounce.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                As of Wednesday, let’s hope the govt. gets on with the job!

  1. SUN 8th. The PM has brought the party meeting forward to Mon.9th. Tricky! Perhaps to cut short the time for his dissenters to gather support. I wonder if he will be offered a deal: replace The Hockey Stick, [not the climate change one of the same name], with Malcolm and the “spill” motion will be withdrawn. This Spill move has come from 3 W.A. MPs, and I’d love to know how they get on in future relations with Abbott’s W.A. supporters, such as Julie Bishop and Christian Porter. Maybe the latter, an apparent whizkid, has a move going in the backroom. I’ll still have my $5 on Abbott at $2.25.
